There are many ways in which the City of Wheatland is available and works to serve the community.

The following are the City’s major departments, including a description of their main functions.

Responsible for overall City operations. Key staff members include the City Manager, City Clerk and the Administrative Services Director. City Hall is located at 111 C Street, Wheatland and office hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m – 5:00 p.m.

Responsible for all safety and emergency activities in the City. Key staff member include the Chief of Police and Fire Chief.

Responsible for the major utilities and infrastructure of the City. Key staff members include the Director of Public Works and the Public Works Superintendent.

To provide and promote recreational use of parks and the new Community Center for all ages.
